It's my monthly day of procrastination. I have a writing piece due tomorrow that I haven't started yet, and no work today because working today would have meant working tonight, and tonight I have to write. Right.
I took Happy out to Woofgang, where she was fed buffalo hearts (...) by Raymond, who talked me into/through starting her on a raw diet. As soon as she gets through her last bag of Foundation, the journey will begin.
Then to Narcissist, where I found a Nernie in need. I ran to Bean for lattes and came back with Happy. Marian took her break. We sat on the floor in the back room. Then the break was over and fifteen people filed in to purchase silk scarves, et cetera, and I left and drove to Yaletown.
At Oceandrive leather I looked at a beautiful $1400 jacket that I would obviously never buy, even if I was into, you know, calfskin, but I made the woman give me her card anyway. I'm that full of shit. Then I wandered into a comic/toy store on Hamilton that I'd never noticed before, and it was the most depressing place in the world. I ran back out and met Happy at the car, (she'd been in Roost, eyeing a nice vase), and drove to Headquarters, where I bought a new Dunny figure and a Neko Noko Cat Honey Bee. My nose started running like crazy. We came home.
Now I have no reason to not be working. Except that I haven't opened my toys yet. That's very important. I'll need to be doing that.
Edit: It's 8:50pm. I finished and sent off my piece. Neko Noko Honey Bee is apparently a work charm.

Two things:
1. On first read, it seemed perfectly natural that Happy would be contemplating a vase at Roost. She had to do something while you were chatting up the calf-skin lady.
2. Please tell me more about Neko Noko Cat Honey Bee (I assume Headquaters was the Japanese Market...?)
1. She settled for an reinforced-with-tightly-woven-nylon-belting stuffed trout from Woofgang, as originally purchased.
2. Words can do no justice: http://magic-pony.com/product.php?id=67&category=mini
I have no idea what you guys are talking about but I love that honey bee thing. Which has reminded me of Magic Pony, which is not a good thing, as my visa is balanced precariously on my laptop keyboard as we speak.
...that can be made INTO A KEYCHAIN!
Juniper is licking my arm as I write.
Why are we all up so early?
Give the visa here, Sachi. Yes, that's it, a little closer. It's okay, no one's going to hurt you. Yes, yes, give it here.
I forgot to add that Headquarter/'s is an art toy and sneaker shop on Burrard. Very tasty. But expensive. Very expensive.
