It's the nicest day in, uh, I can't even remember the last time it wasn't raining here. So naturally I've decided to post. After that I'll take the dog for a walk though, I swear.
Ever since I handed my pit bull polemic, which won't be ripped apart until next class, I've been busy. My grandmother was sick and staying in the hospital, (she's out now and feeling better), Emily is back from Australia, and I've been working extra hours. I finally saw Brokeback Mountain with Asher, which I really liked, and had a great time with Narns last night, reverting to form with piles of sweet DVDs and Japanese candy. I bought a Playstation 2, so every spare minute has been spent on violently killing colossi. That, and I'm really into The Killer Angels, a historical novel on the battle of Gettysburg.
I don't know what it is about the American civil war that I find so... nifty? To read about, I mean. And this is making me want to buy Gettysburg, which is a long, slow movie featuring not a single woman (historically accurate, but generally not an entertaining choice), which goes over the battle of Gettysburg in detail. Sam Elliot, who I love, has one or two scenes in it. Possibly he is brutally killed by canon fire. I can't remember.
I carried Ivy around on my shoulders for what felt like half of the week, and now my back is aching slightly but I don't mind. She's a good heavy.

pls. describe and expand on both DVDs and candy.
The candy wasn't so much candy as Pocky and sushi and the crappy munchy stuff that comes in boxes with Japanese capsule toys.
DVDS? Nooooooooooooooooo... ooo... Don't make me.
