I broke my digital camera today! I dropped it on the sidewalk!

It wasn't mine, really. I'd just appropriated it because I needed it more than my parents did, on account of I take pictures of babies and the dog, and things, and they only ever take pictures of relatives and flowers. Stupid parents! It's their fault, really.
I haven't mentioned it to them yet. Maybe it can be... fixed.

Three spam comments for one post is my record. I'm finally turning on word verification. Sorry friends, you'll be typing things like "gcom" and "nbnu" all the time now.
The only reason I have any hope at all about getting the camera fixed is that it's still partially working, and there's an error message on the display screen. I can't take pictures because the lens thing (which appears to be otherwise sound) won't extend fully, but I can still see the pictures I took before I dropped it, and turn it on and off. But yeah, it's a few years old already so they'll probably tell me to get a new one. Those... those heartless camera people. Those mercenaries.
