Horse pucky

Today I woke up at 3:00 again. I squinted at the clock for five minutes, hoping to see anything but 3:00, but there it was. I know the only way I'm going to fix this sleeping thing is to get up early and stay awake all day, but somehow I keep on doing everything but that. It's frustrating. Have I mentioned how frustrating it is? I want to break the clock. I hate the clock.

My wisdom teeth have changed. I think they've gotten smaller. I know they're harder than they were, and much more glossy. When I first brought them home, and took that picture of them, it was as if they were still alive. They were covered in gore, (I've cleaned them since then), and the roots were like pulp. Now they just look like bone. I'm fascinated by them. They came out of my face.

I took pictures of the nernies at Kibune, the other night, and I apologize for not posting them. They actually aren't very good. There isn't much light in the restaurant and I hate my camera's flash setting. It makes everything look varnished, even skin, and sort of orange. I'll look through them again to see if anything can be salvaged. I feel like salvaging something.

My parents have probably left for the cabin. Which means tomorrow I'll be waking myself up to take my car to the Volkswagen place at nine o'clock. Then maybe I won't come home and go right back to sleep, ha-ha-ha. Wait. Delete the ha-ha-ha. That's defeatism. I don't need that.

Now what? Now food. Phone. Clothes.

Bones are weird and lovely. That deer vertebrae is on my shelf now, looking all eerie and beautiful.

In case I don't talk to you tomorrow and on the off chance that you can read this at the cabin: I was thinking of going out there thursday night instead of friday. We'll discuss. Also I nursed a wounded bird to health this afternoon. Remind me to expound later because I might forget.
