White alloy

I'm really reluctant to admit to myself that the long weekend is over.

Not that I don't love the city, but I hate the city. No, I hate having to worry about this manuscript portfolio submission thing for creative writing next year. I hate watching television, and sitting in front of the computer any longer than it takes to check on the lil' bloggers gang. I hate the way I don't have a real appetite here, not in the same way. I hate how bored my dog looks.

I tried to work today, and I got my second rewrite finished, finally, and worked on my portfolio a bit. Mostly tidying up, editing. I need five more pages of children's fiction, though, and I can't seem to write anything tonight. I've tried. I just can't. Tomorrow is Sachi day, which is something I've really been looking forward to, and then it'll be Thursday, the 31st. I have to have my portfolio in by 3:30pm.

Can I come home from class tomorrow and write five pages of children's fiction before we go out to the Naam? I don't know. I don't want to talk about it anymore. Go away.

(I'm a much bigger baby than Marc is. I win.)
