Yesterday, Marian and I had breakfast at Paul's Omlettery.
It might look like Marian is beat boxing in this picture, but she's actually giggling like a little girl. Inside, however, she is burly. Never forget that.

I'm making a face here that Marian and I used to make a lot in highschool lit class to crack each other up. It's the partially stuck-out tongue thing. You understand.

There was a little kid wandering around on the playing field near my house, so I babied Happy until it lost interest and toddled on. For those who don't already know, my dog is vicious animal who wants to eat children. OR SO YOU MIGHT THINK. She's really just skittish around strangers, but parents of small children don't like skittish dogs running off-leash in playing fields. Hence the pose.

This isn't actually from today. It's from the day before yesterday... I think? Today I helped Marc move into his new basement suite and then we went to see Broken Flowers. This photo was taken at Modern Club. Right after we left the restaurant, my dad arrived there with a friend and the waitress told him we'd been there. He tried to impress me later by "guessing" where we'd eaten, BUT I SAW THROUGH HIS LITTLE PLOT!
My writing class this semester is on Mondays and tomorrow's a holiday, so I don't start back at UBC for another week. Ivy's in New York. I just won't know what to do with myself.

come to montreal!
delicious post. so tasti.
Ungh! Montreal! I want to come now but it cannot be. I have no money and classes to not miss, but more importantly no money. Maybe... in the winter. When it is a frozen wasteland?
Reading over this post, I realized that Happy was described as being a "viscous animal". That is just... confusing and gross. I'm changing it.
Anytime before December would be good. Autumn is quite spectacular, actually.
Hehe...viscous. She's not quite that sticky.
And what is this NOTIFY YOUR FACE thing anyway?
She's PRETTY sticky...
I made the NOTIFY YOUR FACE explanation into a post, ala your blog when you were answering Marian's queries about finding junk. I learn from the bizzest.
