I saw you walking with Hippy Johnny

In desperation this morning I sat at my computer and chose random options in response to apparently random prompts until Windows came back up. That gave me just enough time to print out a classmate's piece, read it, scribble some incoherent notes, and be at Buchanan by 10:00. Of course when I got there and the room was empty, I remembered that class today wouldn't start until 11:00. I'd missed the email reminder about that. But we mustn't dwell.

Last night I dreamed that Richard was going to get married on my front lawn. I talked to him in the morning after I'd fixed my computer MYSELF, thank you, and he mentioned that his sister is getting married this weekend. If she were going to marry, say, Richard, on my front lawn, I'd say that were a hell of a coincidence. But I don't want to scare anyone with my incredible psychic powers any more than I already have...

Tomorrow I'm leaving for Saturna with Marc and the dogs. I'm looking forward to that. We're going to take my mother's laptop so that I can try and write a kid's lit story for my portfolio. But we'll probably end up watching DVDs on it all weekend. DVDs at the cabin?! The future is here.

Have fun you two. And let us know as soon as you are back.

If you stop at Videomatica on the way out, I highly recommend the Price of Milk.
