Change places

We spent yesterday in typical Saturna fashion with walks to the lighthouse, throwing sticks for the dogs, driving to the general store to stock up on snacks, napping, reading, and eating. It started to pour with rain around the time we went to bed. The rain sounds especially loud here because the roof of the cabin is tin. It makes for a high level of cozy.

This morning it was offically stormy. Wind, rain, waves, and the power was out. When I finally dragged myself out of bed covered in twenty blankets and both dogs, Marc set about making tea, bacon and eggs on the woodstove. I lit candles. By the time my tea had steeped, the lights came back on. Now I'm writing this in what we call the office pod, which is seperated from the rest of the cabin by an elevated, enclosed walkway. The structure itself rests on stilts. Whenever the wind hits the pod particulary hard, it shivers slightly. Maybe it's my imagination, but I wouldn't want to sleep here in bad weather.

I'm getting through the books I brought faster than I expected. Soon I might have to start writing.

It sounds TOTALLY red handed jill style.

The extent to which we discuss your boyfriend's hot ass is somewhat alarming.
